Step Over the Edge
The day starts vertically. Listen to your guide, lean into the rope and turn the uncertainty of that first step into the beginning of something you now know you can do.
Day Thrill · Costa Rica
One day. Two environments. Two ways forward. Begin in the canyon, where the route moves vertically through rappels, waterfalls and rainforest. Then change rhythm completely as the second part of the experience takes you onto the Balsa River for Class II/III white water. The appeal is the contrast. First, trust the rope. Then, trust the river.
The Thrill
Start by moving deliberately through the canyon, trusting the rope, finding your footing, and following the water down through rock and rainforest. Then the equipment changes. The harness gives way to a life jacket, the rope to a paddle, and the challenge becomes shared: listen to your guide, read the river, and move with the people beside you. That contrast is the heart of this Thrill. One environment asks for control; the other asks for rhythm. Together, they turn one day into an experience about adapting, trusting yourself, and staying present when the way forward keeps changing.

What to expect
The day starts vertically. Listen to your guide, lean into the rope and turn the uncertainty of that first step into the beginning of something you now know you can do.
Once the first descent is behind you, the canyon becomes the path. Work through rappels, water and rainforest as each section asks for a slightly different way of moving forward.
Then the experience resets. The harness gives way to a life jacket, the rope to a paddle, and individual movement becomes teamwork. What you learned in the canyon stays with you, but the river asks for something new.
The challenge changes from vertical to horizontal. Paddle together through Class II/III white water, respond to your guide and discover how quickly a group of individuals can begin moving like a team.
