1. Before payment
A request may be withdrawn before payment without a TSA cancellation fee unless the traveler expressly authorized a disclosed third-party cost or non-refundable commitment.
Availability is not guaranteed while a request, quotation, or payment link remains unpaid. A supplier hold may expire, and TSA may need to recheck price or availability before confirming the booking.
If TSA has not sent a written confirmation, the request remains pending even if automated messages have been issued. If TSA collects payment but cannot confirm the requested service, TSA will offer an appropriate alternative, credit, or refund for the unavailable service.
2. Product-specific conditions
The cancellation schedule shown on the product page, quotation, checkout or payment step, and booking confirmation applies to that booking. It may vary because providers reserve capacity, purchase permits, assign vehicles or guides, secure accommodation, or incur non-refundable costs at different times.
Before payment, TSA will disclose the applicable cancellation window and any deposit or amount that becomes non-refundable. Journey conditions may use staged cancellation charges based on the number of days before departure. Day Thrills, transfers, private services, and add-ons may have shorter cutoffs, including provider-local time.
If no product-specific cancellation schedule was disclosed before payment, TSA will apply a reasonable outcome based on recoverable supplier costs, work already performed, applicable law, and this Policy. An undisclosed harsher term will not be added after confirmation.
3. How to request a cancellation
For a paid or confirmed booking, contact experience@thrillseekerscr.com or WhatsApp +506 7249-3355 and include:
The booking reference.
The lead traveler’s name.
The product and service date.
Whether the request applies to the full booking or named travelers or services.
The reason, if you want TSA to consider an exceptional circumstance.
Any supporting document you choose to provide when requesting an exception.
A cancellation is normally effective when TSA receives it through one of these designated channels. TSA will acknowledge the request as soon as reasonably possible. The received timestamp determines the applicable window; however, supplier-local time, stated operating hours, and a provider’s already-communicated cutoff may affect what can still be canceled.
Do not rely on a social-media comment, message to an individual guide, or message sent only to a provider unless TSA confirms that channel for the booking. If you do not receive an acknowledgment within a reasonable time, follow up by the other designated channel.
4. Cancellation by Thrill Seekers or the provider
TSA or a provider may cancel when a service cannot operate safely or lawfully, the provider becomes unavailable, minimum participation is not met, a permit or access is denied, or another material operational reason prevents delivery.
If TSA or the provider cancels a service and the traveler did not cause the cancellation, TSA will offer, as appropriate and subject to mandatory law:
A comparable rescheduled service.
A reasonable alternative.
A credit accepted by the traveler.
A refund of the amount paid for the canceled service.
If only part of a Journey or package is affected, TSA will address the affected portion and any material impact on the overall booking. TSA will not require a traveler to accept a materially different substitute or credit where applicable law requires a refund.
TSA is not responsible for independent expenses outside the booking, such as separate flights, visas, accommodation, lost work, or personal purchases, unless responsibility is imposed by law. Travel insurance is intended to help address eligible external losses.
5. Weather, safety and circumstances beyond control
Rain alone does not necessarily cancel an activity. Safety decisions may depend on river levels, wind, visibility, lightning, road access, official alerts, provider assessments, equipment, and local conditions.
The provider, guide, Thrill Leader, TSA, or competent authority may delay, modify, relocate, substitute, suspend, or cancel a service when reasonably necessary for safety or operation. Travelers must not pressure staff to operate against a safety decision.
When a service is canceled before it begins, TSA will apply the provider’s lawful weather policy and mandatory consumer law, which may result in rescheduling, an alternative, credit, or refund. When a service has begun or substantial services have already been delivered, the remedy will reflect the unused portion, recoverable costs, the reason for the change, and applicable law.
For extraordinary events outside reasonable control—such as severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic, government restriction, border closure, civil disturbance, or major transport disruption—TSA will work in good faith to recover supplier funds and offer the lawful options available. Non-refundable third-party amounts may be deducted only when they were properly disclosed or are otherwise lawfully chargeable.
6. Late arrival and no-show
Travelers must arrive by the stated check-in, meeting, or pickup time. Activities and transfers may depart without a late traveler because delaying the service can affect safety, permits, other travelers, or provider operations.
A traveler who misses a service because of late arrival, incorrect pickup information, missing documents, impairment, failure to meet a disclosed participation requirement, or failure to appear is generally treated as a no-show. No-show charges may be up to 100% of the affected service, subject to the confirmed terms and mandatory law.
TSA will make reasonable efforts to identify an alternative when practical, but replacement transport, rebooking, or additional supplier costs are the traveler’s responsibility unless TSA caused the issue.
If a delay is caused by a TSA-arranged preceding service, contact us immediately. We will coordinate the most reasonable available solution and determine responsibility based on the confirmed booking and applicable law.
7. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method and in the original transaction currency unless another lawful method is agreed.
TSA normally initiates an approved refund within 10 business days after eligibility, supplier recovery where relevant, and the final refundable amount are confirmed. Banks, card networks, and payment providers may require additional processing time, commonly 5 to 15 business days or longer for some international payments.
The refunded amount may reflect the confirmed cancellation charge, a disclosed non-refundable deposit, services already delivered, lawful supplier costs, or currency effects outside TSA’s control. When TSA or the provider cancels an undelivered service, TSA will not deduct a traveler-cancellation penalty.
Original bank, card issuer, exchange-rate, or third-party charges not received by TSA may not be recoverable through TSA. We will provide available refund confirmation or transaction reference on request.
8. Questions or exceptional circumstances
We know that illness, bereavement, transportation disruption, and other serious events can affect travel. Contact us as early as possible and provide the information you are comfortable sharing. TSA may request reasonable evidence and will evaluate exceptions consistently, considering supplier flexibility, timing, recoverable costs, fairness to other travelers, and applicable law.
An exception for one booking does not change the published policy for other bookings. TSA may offer a date change or credit when a cash refund is not otherwise available, but the traveler must agree to that solution.
